Bisexuality is the romantic or sexual attraction to males and females.Sexual orientation develops across a person’s lifetime.Sexual attraction,behavior and identity may also be incongruent,as sexual attraction or behavior may not necessarily be consistent with identity.Like people of other LGBT sexualities, bisexuals often face discrimination, In addition to the discrimination associated with homophobia,bisexuals must frequently contend with discrimination from gays,lesbians,and straight society around the word bisexual and bisexual identity itself.The Kinsey scale is used to describe a person’s sexual experience or response at a given time,It ranges from 0,meaning exclusively heterosexual,to 6,meaning exclusively homosexual.People who rank anywhere from 2 to 4 are often considered bisexual;they are often not fully one extreme or the other.In principle,people who rank anywhere from 1 to 5 could be considered bisexual.

First unveiled on 5 December 1998,the bisexual pride flag was designed  by Michael Page to represent bisexuals. This rectangular flag consists of a broad magenta stripe at the top(representing samegender attraction), a broad stripe in blue at the bottom (representing oppositegender attraction),and a narrower deep lavender band occupying the central fifth(which represents attraction towards both genders). The blue and pink overlapping triangle symbol represents bisexuality and bi pride. The exact origin of this symbol,sometimes facetiously referred to as the “biangles”,remains ambiguous. It is thought that the ping triangle represents homosexuality, as it does when it stands alone, while the blue stands for heterosexuality. The two together form the color lavender, a blend of both sexual orientations and a color that has been associated with homosexuality for almost a century. It’s possible that the pink may represent attraction to females, the blue attraction to males, and lavender attraction to both. The bisexual moon symbol was created to avoid the use of the Nazi-originated pink triangle.
